Toronto get ready! Comedy is Magic!

Yan Markson teams up with two of Toronto's fastest growing comedians JJ Liberman & Allen Yiu for a brand new show! Get ready for high energy, mind-blowing performances by this trio.

This show has been in the works for some time, and it will be the first time that we bring it to a live audience in Toronto. This is just the beginning of a brand new adventure, and we're super excited to finally share it with our friends!

New Interview with Mentalist, Magician, and Clown - Yan Markson!

I got a chance to sit down with Katie Chats in downtown Toronto for a quick chat about my plans in 2014. Lots of new magic, mentalism, and circus performances all mixed together wonderfully on stage!

It's Official! Tickets are now on sale for "Measured Magic".

I'm very excited about this upcoming show! I will be performing along with another 3 great Toronto magicians, Baldini, Rob Testa, and Baldini's student Mindbender on Friday, November 1st 2013.

The show will take place at Measure. If you've never had a chance to check out this venue, this is a great opportunity. I've watched Bobby Motta's show at the venue only about a month ago. (It was mind-blowing, and extremely inspiring of course.)

Baldini, and Rob are both performers that have fascinated, and inspired me. I honestly feel privileged to perform on the same stage with them. Moreover, I am going to try and mix some magic and mentalism with some clowning/miming arts. Not sure how this will go, I'm nervous. Come out and check it out for yourselves.

The show will close off with Dane Hartsel & Kiri Etzkorn's musical performance.

Tickets are only $15. 4 Magicians and a musician for $15? That's an amazing deal, but keep in mind that the venue only hold 100 people so I expect this show to be sold out well before Nov. 1st.

Introducing Magic to my Skill Set :)

I've always loved to perform magic tricks, however, it was never at the level that I wanted it to be. There's nothing better than seeing a person's face transform because for that instant, something that is impossible, became possible!

After spending about a year practicing, learning, and watching lot of magic. I began to introduce these skills into my clown acts. I can't wait to learn more, and to perform more. My first opportunites came when I performed a This is London Nightclub, Manabar, Indigo Corporate Party, Kind Edward Hotel, and the Niagara Street Festival.
